Акушерка, продавец супермаркета и водитель поезда на обложке британского Vogue

Британский Vogue сняли для обложки женщин, которые, несмотря на пандемию коронавируса, ежедневно выходят на работу. Они сейчас находятся «на первой линии».

Так, для июльского номера снялись акушерка Рэйчел Миллер, продавец супермаркета Аниса Омар и водитель лондонского поезда Наргуис Хорсфорд. Снимал фотограф Джейми Хоуксворт.

Когда наша нация настойчиво борется с Covid-19, оказалось, что мы опираемся не в власть, а на обычных людей и их чрезвычайную силу и доброту. От персонала Национальной службы здравоохранения для работников магазинов, преподавателей и водителей поездов — это те, кто работает на передовой, и мы с гордостью называем их своими », — говорится на сайте журнала.

For the July 2020 issue of #BritishVogue, the magazine turns its spotlight on the UK's front-line heroes, and pays thanks to the extraordinary contribution they have made during the pandemic. Millions are waking every morning, saying goodbye to their families and getting on with their day to ensure that the cogs of the country continue to turn. Supermarket assistant Anisa Omar is one such key worker who can be found on the tills in Waitrose, in London’s King’s Cross. “Before the pandemic, my job was not really that big a deal, but now it’s like we’re important,” she tells Vogue.
